  Comments: Hawley improved to 18-8 overall and 5-0 in district play Crawford continues to bruise the competition sweeping Blum and Gholson to improve to 7-0 in district play.  Iola beat Kennard and Latexo to improve to 7-0 in district and 29-1 overall.

  Comments: Glen Rose clipped Brock in a district match of titans in a district that is led by Peaster. Brock had earlier swept Millsap and Keene.  Denver City won twice sweeping Colorado City and Dimmit. Edna swept Palacios.  Poth is 6-0 in district after sweeping Bloomington as Alyssa Kallies had 11 kills.  Farmersville has beaten Leonard at Leonard and beat  Commerce to improve to 7-0 in district and 21-4 overall. Central Heights won their sixteenth straight match to improve to 5-0 in district and 20-6 overall by beating Woodville in five as they lost the first two sets then won the next three closing with a 15-13 fifth set victory.  Chisum defeated Pattonville Prairieland 25-23 22-25 26-28 25-20 15-11
Denver City swept Crane to improve to 24-6.  Grape Creek beat Jim Ned as sophomore Lexi Knight had 14 kills.  Creek then beat Littlefield and Lubbock Cooper with Knight collecting 23 more kills.

  Comments: Godley has won seven straight improving to 22-9 overall and 2-0 in district. Longview Spring Hill is 3-0 in district and 26-5 overall after beating Bullard and Gilmer.  Little Cypress Mauriceville swept Hardin Jefferson to notch their 18th straight match without losing a set. Bonham beat Anna and Nevada Community to move to 3-0 in district play.   Port Isabel swept Hidalgo to improve to 5-0 in district play.  Bushland finally opened district sweeping Perryton, the Falcons are 27-4 and despite moving up in class, the Falcons are big time on the court in performance and stature.  Van beat Wills Point to open district play.  The Vandals are 23-9 overall.  Lorena had a shootout as the Leopards edged the Robinson Rockets 27-25, 25-22, 23-25, 18-25, 18-16 to improve to 30-5 overall and 2-0 in district. Eighmy Dobbins and Katy Keenan combine for 37 kills as Argyle beat Sanger in four. While Decatur absolutely demolished Castleberry 25-5, 25-0, 25-4.

  Comments:  Frisco Centennial is on a roll in a tough district and making it look easy.  Alamo Heights, Dripping Springs and Aledo are separating themselves do the regional formats will be quite interesting. Amber Strange, Aubrey Ezell, Erin Jones and Karis Beasley lead Granbury to a dominating sweep of Everman. Ashley Brown spreads out the attack as Prosper improves to 22-10 with a sweep of McKinney North. Aledo swept Burleson Centennial 25-18, 25-21, 25-16 as Madison Goings crushed 17 kills while Prosper swept McKinney North 25-9, 25-23, 25-14.  Top ranked Frisco Centennial swept Frisco Heritage although it went 27-25 in the third set.  Out West, Canyon Randall beat Dumas and Rockwall Heath crushed Terrell 25-6, 25-4, 25-9

  Comments:  San Angelo Central is playing well with wins over Trinity and Lubbock Coronado.  In the Metroplex, Colleyville Heritage beat Southlake Carroll but the Dragons roared back to beat sweep Coppell.  Top ranked Amarillo continues their impressive steak while Madison Borowski recorded 30 assists and 17 digs as Central Texas power Austin Westlake beat Austin Bowie for the second time in district play.  Bowie is the only school to have taken a set from the Chaps. The Alamo City duo both swept as O’Connor and Churchill have on path to a post-season tussle.
