On Friday, December 20th the Schulenburg Lady Horns will be hosting the Shiner Lady Comanches in our 2nd Cancer Night basketball game. Two years ago both teams played here and we were able to raise almost $1900 to donate to Cancer research. With your support, we can do the same again this year. Both teams get in the spirit of fighting cancer by wearing as much pink as the UIL permits on their uniforms.

There will be a silent auction,raffles and an honor wall and other activities throughout the night to help raise awareness, remember those who have lost the battle to cancer and those that continue to battle this disease today.

If you are interested, I have attached a picture of the T Shirt the senior girls helped design for the game. The shirt costs $10 and the deadline to order is Friday, Dec 13 at noon to assure delivery before the game next week. Click Here for a picture of the 2013 Cancer Shirt   

I also attached a copy of our honor sheet. For $1 we will put the name of a loved one who has gone through cancer to recognize them. We'll print it on a pink sheet of paper and hang them in the foyer of the gym. You can email the name of the person you would like to recognize.
