The Varsity Boys Basketball Team finished 4 - 1 last week. On Tuesday they defeated Columbus at home. On Thursday thru Saturday they competed in the Yoakum tournament. The Horns beat Columbus again on Thursday and Rice on Friday in tournament pool play. Friday night the Horns lost a hard fought battle to Yoakum in the semi finals of the tournament. On Saturday the Horns beat Needville in the 3rd place game. Wesley Kutac was selected on the all tournament team. The Horns record is 7 - 4.
The Horns FR, JV, and Varsity teams were scheduled to travel to East Bernard on Tuesday for 3 games but because East Bernard is still in the football playoffs those games has been cancelled. Instead the varsity boys only will travel to Waelder on Tuesday for one game starting at 6:30.
