FOOTBALL

Caleb Urban, Memorial - Rambled for 180 yards on 13 carries and touchdown runs of 1 and 38 yards and completed 10 of 12 passes with no interceptions for 135 yards in a win over Corpus Christi King.

Jarad Trojacek, Schulenburg - Passed for 321 yards, completing 13 of 23 passes with no interceptions and three TDs, in a win over Ganado. Trojacek also ran for 99 yards on 13 carries and scored on a 17-yard run.

Devon Morales, Ganado - Ran for 176 yards on 26 carries and scored on runs of 1 and 17 yards in a loss to Schulenburg.

Dane Kubecka, Palacios - Completed 18 of 36 passes for 223 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions in a loss to Sweeny. He also had 14 carries for 46 yards and punted four times for a 35.3 average.

Willie Santry, Pettus - Sparked the Eagles in an overtime loss to Louise. Santry had 19 carries for 139 yards.

C.J. Clements, Louise - Scored on runs of 45 and 5 yards and had nine carries for 120 yards in the Hornets 28-21 overtime win over Pettus.

Jo Jo Garza, Eric Soza, Beeville - Sparked the Trojans to a win over Pleasanton. Garza carried 10 times for 104 yards and two touchdowns and caught four passes for 94 yards and two touchdowns while Soza ran for 25 yards and completed 7 of 18 passes for 125 yards.

Heath Bludau, Sacred Heart - Scored on a 29-yard run and toted the ball 29 times for 122 yards in a win over Taft.

Tyler McAfee, Calhoun - Gained 171 yards on 25 carries in a loss to Angleton.

Jeremy Salinas, Joel Simpson, Wharton - Combined for 212 yards and five rushing touchdowns in a win over Needville. Salinas, who gained 104 yards on seven carries, ran for scores of 1, 2, 2 and 80 yards and caught a 38-yard touchdown pass.

Nic Crozier, Gonzales - Completed 7 of 12 passes for 124 yards and no interceptions with TD passes of 71 and 20 yards in win over Luling.

Odrick Thomas, East Bernard - Tossed a 21-yard touchdown pass and completed 4 of 6 passes for 116 yards in win over Brazos.

Kurt Morrill, Flatonia - Galloped for 208 yards on 31 carries and scored three touchdowns in a win over Woodsboro.

Brandon Burley, Earl Jones, Weimar - Keyed the Wildcats' win over Van Vleck. Burley scored on runs of 5 and 49 yards while gaining 167 yards on 20 carries. Jones had two catches for 83 yards and TDs of 29 and 54 yards, kicked two conversions and returned a blocked PAT 90 yards for two points.

Derek Washington, El Campo - Ran for 163 yards on 22 carries in a loss to Rosenberg Terry.

Corey Blackmon, Da'Marcus Griggs, Bay City - Carried the Blackcats to a win over Richmond Foster. Blackmon ran for 121 yards on 23 carries and Griggs completed 9 of 20 passes with one interception for 118 yards and touchdowns of 26 and 22 yards.

SWIMMING

Shelby Mozisek, Michelle Curtiss, Memorial - Each won two individual and two team relay races in a dual meet against El Campo.

Justin Marthiljohni, Ryan Mireles, Ryan Hoerig, Memorial - Stroked to a pair of individual golds in dual meet against El Campo.

CROSS COUNTRY

Victor Rocha, John King, Larry Vasquez, Bloomington - Finished fifth, sixth and seventh, respectively, to help the Bobcats win the Skidmore-Tynan Meet.

Derek Allen, Yoakum - Captured individual honors to help the Bulldogs win the boys 3A and under division at the Georgetown Meet.

VOLLEYBALL

Lindsey Schindler, Hallettsville - Slammed 12 kills, five blocks and three digs in a win over Gonzales.

Holly Schlinke, Yorktown - Knocked down 16 kills, three digs and 3 aces in a win over Bloomington.

Erin Grantland, Calhoun - Blasted 44 kills, 34 digs, four blocks, three aces and two assists in wins over El Campo and Angleton.

Kia Ousley, Goliad - Nailed 12 kills, six blocks and a dig in a win over Aransas Pass.

Frances Wittenburg, Edna - Had 22 digs, 22 kills and 15 blocks in a win over Cuero.

Glennis Massey, Cuero - Slammed down 32 kills with 9 digs and 11 blocks in losses to Edna and Hallettsville.

Sabrina Henkes, Cuero - Had 30 digs, 25 kills and seven blocks in losses to Edna and Hallettsville.

Jenna Treybig, Palacios - Finished with 21 kills, six digs and three blocks in a win over Columbia.

Lauren Adamek, Yoakum - Had 44 assists, 16 digs, three aces and nine points in loss to Luling.

Hillary Pustka, Shiner - Knocked down 21 kills, 10 digs, four blocks and three assists in a loss to Flatonia.

Brittany Pohler, St. Paul - Had 21 digs, 10 kills, an assist, a block and three aces in a win over St. Joseph.

Jamie Tackett, Brianna Mendel Schulenburg - Combined off 40 assists, 24 digs, 16 kills, and three aces in a win over Ganado.

Mandie Drozd, Devonne Michalcik, Hallettsville - Combined for 30 kills, seven aces, 26 digs, six blocks and 20 assists in a loss to Cuero.

Meagan Markert, Refugio - Nailed 20 kills, five aces, seven digs, seven assists and six blocks in a win over Karnes City.

Kara Simnacher, Memorial - Had 10 digs, 22 kills and five blocks in a loss to Corpus Christi King.
